My granddaughter and I were traveling together today and I was pointing out things to her and asking questions to which she was giving her very rich interpretation of. Then she was silent for a while as we were getting into more traffic, buildings and the busyness of the city. After a bit she said, “Poppy town isn’t very clean”. I told her that what she saw was because of people working, streets being repaired, construction going on and because of that there was a lot of things that made it look messy but when it was done it would be pretty again, maybe even prettier than before.
Sometimes we look at lives around us and consider them not clean. They are messed up, broken and in need of repair. I think God sees those lives as under construction, in need of repair yes, but when the reconstruction and renovation is finished by His skilled hands, they will be more beautiful than before.
May we learn to see the hidden potential, the priceless worth of those unclean lives and roll our sleeves up to give aid by way of God’s vision to bring those families back to what His vision has always been. To be whole, Blessed, Beautiful and Complete by the hands of the Master Carpenter for we are all fearfully and wonderfully made❤️
